How to Use the Genius Mobile App to Pay
Short answer: Open the app, tap Pay Now, confirm the amount, and approve the M-Pesa prompt on your phone.
Step-by-step
- Open the Genius App on your device
- Tap "Pay Now"
- Select or adjust your payment amount
- Tap Pay
- Wait for the M-Pesa STK Push prompt to appear on your phone
- Enter your M-Pesa PIN and confirm
That's it, your account updates instantly once the payment is successful.
Tips for a smooth payment
- Make sure you have enough M-Pesa balance before starting
- Keep your phone's data or Wi-Fi connection on so the STK push and confirmation go through
- If the STK push doesn't arrive within a minute, check your phone's signal and try again from the app
Other things you can do in the app
- Check your outstanding balance and next due date (Payments Tab)
- View your payment history
- Refresh your account status if your device is locked
