How to Pay for your Device via M-Pesa Paybill

Short answer: Go to M-Pesa on your phone, select Paybill, use the Genius Friends Business Number 4182761, and enter your National ID Number as the account number.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to your phone's M-Pesa menu
  2. Select Lipa na M-Pesa
  3. Select Paybill
  4. Enter Business Number: 4182761
  5. Enter Account Number: your National ID number
  6. Enter the amount you want to pay
  7. Enter your M-Pesa PIN and confirm

You'll get an M-Pesa confirmation SMS, and your Genius account will update once the payment is confirmed.

Important: use your National ID as the account number

This is how we match your payment to your account — please double check this number before confirming, as an incorrect ID number can delay your payment being applied.

After paying

  • Your balance updates automatically, you can confirm this by opening the Genius App and checking on the home screen
  • If your device was locked, it should unlock within a few minutes
